Capt. Gip Sisson was raised in Jamestown, RI, home of some of the best fishing grounds on the East coast. He caught his first fish with his father before he could even walk. What began as a hobby quickly became his passion. Capt. Gip considers himself fortunate to have learned from many legendary local fishermen. He continually seeks new ideas and techniques and truly enjoys sharing his experience and knowledge with others.
Fishing Achievements:

Boated first Giant Blue Fin Tuna (606 lbs) at age 16.
Boated 3 striped bass over 50lbs by age 25.
Commercial Rod and Reel fisherman since age 16.
Served as a first mate on the charter boat Sakarak - 36' JC with Captain Mitch Chagnon through his college years.
Holds a masters 25-ton near coastal US- Coast Guards Captains License with commercial assistance towing endorsement.
1st Place - Manasquan Stars and Stipers Tournament - Winner of a 23' Contender center console with a 200HP Mercury Verado Motor and Long Star Trailer.
2nd Place- Fisherman of the Year - ASA - American Striper Association 2005
Top ten finish in every tournament entered-over 15 tournaments from Boston, MA to Chesapeake Bay Virginia.
3rd Place- ASA Sung Harbor tournament 2005 with a 51.16.lb striped bass.
Fished in places such as Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Cabo San Lucas, Cancun and many more!
