
(Daily Mail) A fisherman survived a chilling overboard ordeal for eight hours in
shark-infested waters - dreaming of a hot meal and his fiancee as he
swam nine miles to safety. Andrew Wilson, 25, revealed he was
bumped by a shark as he battled rough seas, stinging jellyfish and a
fierce current to survive. Mr Wilson was knocked overboard from his boat by a freak wave when
he was fishing alone soon after breakfast time yesterday, nine miles
out to sea off Coolangatta in Queensland, Australia. He watched as,
agonisingly, his boat drifted off without him.
