Block Island marina expansion remains in legal limbo
(soundings)--Champlin's Marina expansion plans on Block Island's Great Salt Pond
could wind up in Rhode Island Supreme Court following a judgment
released this week by the state's Superior Court. Judge Netti Vogel in February issued a 91-page ruling in favor of Champlin's Marina.
However, those opposing the expansion - the town of New Shoreham, the
Conservation Law Foundation and other environmental groups - objected
